Current publication status: YGT's source contract documents are operational drafts that require New Zealand legal review and written broker/insurer confirmation before they are published as final external standard terms. This website therefore does not present the draft as a final public contract.
How the contract is provided
Before a booking is accepted, YGT will provide the customer with the complete operative English Hire Schedule / Hire Agreement in a form the customer can keep. The signed Hire Schedule records transaction-specific pricing, included hours, transport, bond, Damage Waiver choice, excess and any special conditions.
Key operational points
- Equipment is not released until required customer checks, agreement, payment/bond and equipment/tow gates are complete.
- Damage Waiver, where selected, is a contractual limitation and not insurance.
- Customer self-tow requires prior approval for the actual driver and towing vehicle.
- Consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
- Electronic signatures, timestamps, photos, checklists, meter records and system logs may be retained as contract evidence.
